Core Classes

Some of you have been asking about what happens in a core class. Well, here you are. This is just an idea of what a typical core class can be like.

  • Warm-up with core identification exercises, then
  • Do one set of twenty repetitions of each exercise
  • Alternate exercises in each group (A,B,C …) for three sets each
  • Cool-down with a gentle stretch and relaxation postures
A)
  • Ab curl up

  • Back Extension

B)
  • Reverse Crunch
  • Hip Bridge

C)
  • Oblique Crunch

  • Reverse Leg Lift

  •  

Instructors will typically add other elements to make the class interesting and enjoyable, such as speed of movement and manipulating rest periods.
