 New Event for the Sagicor Run for Life Weekend! This year there is no Ride for Life event over the Sagicor Run for Life Weekend BUT rather than take the Saturday afternoon off to rest and prepare for Sunday’s big events, a group of Fitness Professionals, their clients, family and friends have decided to use their time to raise some funds for the diabetes association of Barbados and to bring some more attention to the condition that plagues so many Barbadians. Starting at 2pm on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 six teams of four will attempt to row for 12 hours straight on the Concept 2 indoor rowers at Surfside Wellness Centre in Wildey. Members (of the public) are invited to come along and sponsor an individual or a team and give them some support in this commendable endeavour. |
